Partners
Besides having our own direct contracts with Government for delivery of adult learning programmes, Skills Team has a track record and strong reputation as a delivery partner for many larger organisations and further education colleges.
Since starting Skills Team in 2006, we have been a partner in several consortia for Train to Gain, delivering NVQ and Apprenticeship programmes in ICT, management, customer service and business administration to businesses and organisations in Central, West and South London plus parts of the South East region. We have achieved an 86% success rate in 09/10.
We have always hit targets - both outputs and funding utilisation. Indeed we have been nick-named “Ronseal” by Croydon College, one of the prime contractors with whom we worked on the recent Response to Redundancy programme.
We are Matrix accredited, Ofsted inspected and a registered centre for OCR, ILM, CACHE and Microsoft.
We offer the following key benefits as a partner
- Delivering targets – on time and on budget
- Excellent employer and stakeholder relationships
- Good contacts across the region ranging from smaller specialists to charities, volunteer and faith-based groups
- End to end support – client engagement, assessment, job brokerage, work readiness and vocational training, support and monitoring
- New programme design and delivery to achieve targets
- Apprenticeships funding to complement initiatives like ESF or the Work Programme.

"We trust Skills Team to deliver training services reliably and professionally. The College of North West London has worked with Skills Team for over four years, and in that time they have impressed us with the quality of their provision and their flexible, customer-focused approach. We know they can always be relied upon to meet our targets, and as such I would not hesitate to recommend them to others."
Paul Skitt, College of North West London
